I am totally loving all the Barry M Jelly Polishes. They are so shiny but opaque very quickly. For this mani I used Barry M Key Lime and Blue Grape to do a gradient and then a reverse gradient on top of striping tape. It came out pretty cool. Sadly, I am going to work today with one hand like this and the other with only the initial gradient. It still looks cool but incomplete. I just ran out of time.

Digital Dozen Does Tape manis-Holo Grid
This is simple yet time consuming but it was my favorite of the bunch this week. This is Enchanted Polish's Marge's blue Beehive topped with Zoya Ibiza. I love the blue holo peeking through the grid.

Digital Dozen Does Tape Manis-DS Hearts
Sad to say, this is not going to be my week. I really was disappointed with everything I have done so far. For some reason, I felt very uninspired. Maybe it's the constant back and forth between sweltering heat and pouring rain. I just couldn't get into my groove.
Today's tape mani uses OPI Suzi's Hungary Again and OPI DS Couture. I used the tape to make one heart and a few racing stripes.

Instagram and Facebook Roundup
Her are the manicures I have done in the last month that never made it to the blog. I posted to either Facebook or Instagram at some point.
First up is Butter London's HRH stamped with Essie nothing But Metal. I am not totally sold on HRH. I like it much better in the bottle but I am thrilled to find an amazing purple stamping polish.
Next we have A England Princess Tears stamped with Rose Bower. Love every polish I have ever purchased and plan on purchasing every one she comes up with in the future.
One of my top ten favorite polishes is Illamasqua Jo'Mina and I stamped it with Poke and added the flower centers in Scorch.
And, in time for the 4th, I used Zoya Ginessa with an accent of Liberty and Chyna from the Pixie Collection.
Once my Mentality Polish order came in, I decided to try everything out. This is an assortment of five different mentality polishes. her stamping polish collection is amazing. Totally different than other polishes out there. You should definitely check her out if you have not already.
I decided to try to layer Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier over a lighter blue this time to see the difference. Wow, it is beautiful no matter what you layer it over.
I did a neon French for a Facebook group challenge I am participating in. This is Zoya Kennedy which is an amazing nude polish.

Another A England that was an untried. This is St. George topped with water decals from KKCenterHK.

Lastly, I did a manicure using Zoya Trixie and Liberty to match the blue agate earrings I got in my most recent installment from my Rocksbox. If you have never heard of it........Rocksbox is like Netflix for jewelry. You have to check them out.
Nail Challenge Collaborative Hibiscus Accent
This month we voted on a theme in The nail Challenge Collaborative and I lost out so we are doing flowers. UGH!!! I really suck at flowers. So you will see a lot of stamping. This first design uses Zoya Gaia as a base and I stamped an accent nail with BM318 in Zoya Sooki. I used some other colors to add some details and make it have a little more 3D effect.

I finally caved and got a facebook page
I resisted this for quite some time. I feel that not many people really comment much anymore on the blog as they once did in the past. I am guilty of this myself. It is a lot easier for me to comment on Facebook and I like interacting with bloggers and learning more about them. You can't really do that with the blogs.
I recently was talked into Instagram and I do love it. I'm finding, however, that I only post the stuff I really love the most on there. So? What is the best approach? I decided that I would continue to blog since I really love it and it's a great way to document what is going on in my life at the same time. I will continue to do all my challenges on the blog. I always stay in at least two at once. Right now I am juggling three. I will post day to day stuff on Facebook and the stuff I really love will be reserved for Instagram. All of this is subject to change. We will call it a work in progress.
In the meantime, you can still find me here at least 14 times a month. Four weekly challenges with The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Four weekly challenges with my East Coast crew on Facebook and five posts monthly with The Digit-al Dozen. You can follow me on Instagram at Creativenaildesignbysue and on Facebook at Creative Nail Design By Sue. Check me out and follow me so I don't feel like I am talking to myself.

Instagram Roundup
Here is a quick look at some of the nails I posted on Instagram that didn't make the blog since last month. First is China Glaze Lemon Fizz topped with Smitten Pink Lemonade. I did this for a challenge in my facebook group ECOPOLO. The theme was summer glitter. This was released last year but continues to be one of my favorites.
Next up was Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier. I have wanted this one for a long time. I decided to use Cult Nails Time Traveler for the base because I wanted to bring out the blue but it really acted as if the base was simply black. Next time.....a lighter blue.
Next up was a Cult Nails combo. This is Flushed with a reverse glitter gradient using Blaze. Blaze is gorgeous. They make a perfect pair because Flushed has some subtle gold shimmer mixed in.
And lastly, I did a watercolor manicure using my new Barry M Gelly polishes. I bought them all and they are now one of my favorite brands. That damn Debbie Crumpet sold me on them when I saw this post.
