Let It Snow Challenge-Winter Gradient

My favorite nail design to do when I don't have a lot of time and want something really classy is a glitter reverse gradient.  This is using Essie Lilacism and Different Dimension's Emily.  I just love the look of this....

Let It Snow Challenge-Winter Wonderland

I have already done a few Winter scenes this season so I decided to do this one the way I like them best......on a clear winter night when it is lightly snowing.  I used Cult Nails Nevermore for the base and then Amy's Nail Boutique's Frosty for the sparkly snow falling from the sky.  I will be glad when we move on because I am READY for SPRING!!!!

Let It Snow Challenge-Valentine's Day

I am falling behind in my challenge.  After doing the Digit-al Dozen this week, which consisted of five V-day manicures,I really didn't want to have to do another one but here it is.  This is Cult Nails Nevermore and Zoya Gei Gei.  I did a skittle with various embellishments in different shades of pink.  This was actually wearable believe it or not.  No top coat on anything.

Digit-al Dozen Does Love & Heartbreak-Puppy Love

I always really loved this stamp.  Simple but cute.  I used Zoya Malia for the base.  Then I did a reverse glitter gradient using a custom from Amy's Nail Boutique called Festival of Lights in Purple.  She made a blue version around Christmas time and I wondered if she could make it in different versions.  Yup!!!  Multiple versions.  All equally as gorgeous.

Digit-al Dozen Does Love & Heartbreak-Subtle Stamp

I wanted to layer some stamping but it came out just a tad too light for my tastes.  This is ManGlaze's Lesbihonest with some white stamping and then I used Color Club Halo-Graphic to stamp over some hearts.  You could see them much better in the sun for the ten minutes that is actually peeked through the clouds.

Digit-al Dozen Does Love & Heartbreak-Love and Treads

Love and treads was what I came up with for a title.  The design reminded me of tire treads on pavement.  Sometimes heartbreak makes you feel like you have been run over.  I used ManGlaze's Fattys Got More Blood and stamped with Cult Nails Nevermore and Tempest.  I LOVE the look of ManGlaze with a top coat almost as much as without.  Never been disappointed by a color.

Digit-al Dozen Does Love & Heartbreak-Target Hearts

I am calling this target hearts for obvious reasons.  I started with a base of OPI Skull and Glossbones and then added various OPI polishes to make dots inside of dots.  I wanted the hearts to look like they were floating through various colored bubbles.  It ended up reminding me of a Target Commercial.

Digit-al Dozen Does Valentine's

I can only manage to do so much pink before I want to throw up from the sweetness of it so I decided to break it up a bit.  I realized early on in my polish collecting that I tend to hoard blue polish.  Why not make good use of it?  I started with China Glaze For Audrey and then sponged on several other China Glaze blues and teals until I got a nice mix.  Then I made the hearts using CG Rich & Famous.  I love how it came out.

Let It Snow Challenge-Hot Chocolate

I did not have a clue what I was going to do for this challenge item.  I thought about recreating the cool designs that baristas make in cappuccino but did not have the time since I am falling a bit behind in my challenges.  I settled for a simple cup of hot chocolate.  The base color is Enchanted's Hot Chocolate.  This is a gorgeous brown holo polish.  I added the cup using Zoya's Jacqueline.  This is a beautiful off white cream.  I added in some whipped cream because hot chocolate is not the same without it.  The first pic is in the sunlight outdoors to capture the holographic bits in the base.  The second is in indoor lighting.  Hope you are enjoying the weekend.  I am watching Phil Mickelson kick but in golf.

Sheswai Lacquer Fuckyeah

I didn't create the name but I do love the risk Sheswai took putting out this limited edition polish.  You can still purchase it on their website but it has been renamed Hot Damn.  Another great name for an amazingly showy polish.  It is simply gorgeous and I got more compliments on this color.  It is a crelly in my opinion (part jelly and part creme).  I used two coats here with no top coat.

I added a picture so you can see the label.  Sorry to my young readers and to any others that are offended by the name.  This will be used quite a bit and I may even get a back up bottle (which I rarely do) because it is worth it.

Sheswai Stoned

I have three more Sheswai Polishes to show you before I move on to something new.  This one is called Stoned.  It is a beautiful nude cream that applies perfectly and it is almost a one coater for me. I did use two coats here. I love the color.  I am such a fan of this polish.  No top coat needed just like all the others, It dries with great shine on it's own.
